A phrase that we use frequently around Children’s Ministry is, "Things Are Caught Not Taught." I firmly believe the best curriculum our kids can receive is dedicated and committed volunteer leaders who model Christ-like behavior. The same is true for our own children. Our children actually model our behavior more than following our verbal instructions. Why? Because things are caught not taught.[more]

The command of Matthew 28:19 & 20 (Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all the I commanded you) is the Great Commission issued to all believers including children. One purpose of the Children’s Division is to impact the children of our community with the message of Christ's love. And, to lead children to know and respond to Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, as led by the Holy Spirit and continue to facilitate Christian growth with Jesus Christ through His Word.
The command of Proverbs 22:6 was written to parents. Therefore, we feel that Kids Konnect is a valuable instrument for families as they “train up” their child. With that said, we see another purposes of Kids Konnect is to affirming the home as the central place of biblical guidance.
The call to Christianity must be responded to individually but the response also has a community side, Hebrews 10:24 & 25 (and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another;). We are reminded that though God equips us for works He still wants us to work together and that what we teach through Sunday School and other events.

We are excited about our Wednesday night children's program!
Kid’s kindergarten thru 6th grade will enjoy a variety of creative ministries on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Every week the children will rotate through different 20 minute long stations. There will be a variety of fun activities such as learning to sing, doing puppets, and playing handbells, learning sign language, and learning to play percussion instruments.
