A Message from the Pastor

Welcome to Hazelwood Baptist Church. The first thing we want you to know – you are not alone. God’s message in James 4:8, “Draw near to me and I will draw near to you” God has also provided His church to encourage you in your journey. No one needs to travel or navigate through life alone. Hazelwood Baptist Church exists to connect people to Jesus so they can belong to God’s family and be transformed to live more like Christ.

I’m really excited about what God’s up to at Hazelwood Baptist Church. Imagine a community of people dedicated to connecting people to Jesus with love, where people can explore faith and embrace God’s truths in an atmosphere of being cherished and respected; a place of belonging where people can find a friend, help, and power to change and never give up no matter how desperate the situation; a place of life transformation where people devoted to follow Jesus help each other grow in their relationship with Christ and in turn grow together in gradually becoming more like Him in faith, hope, love, compassion, and courage. That’s the family I dream of and hope many can find at Hazelwood Baptist Church.
