Would you like to join an exciting new ministry? You are invited and encouraged to participate in a sustained ministry opportunity. On the first Saturday of each and every month at 10:00 am, will you commit to pause and lift up your concerted prayers to God for our church and its pastors and leaders, our homes, our nation, and our troops. You may do this right in your home, or wherever you are. And, using a brand new 2012 calendar, please schedule this monthly date on each page so you won't forget it. Our combined prayers can make a difference!

Wednesday evening Engage classes are resuming.

Please take the opportunity to submit a church survey. We encourage ALL members to take part in this effort. Pick up a hard copy in one of the foyers and return to the office or take it online. Then go to the FIRST TIME USER bubble on the page. Enter the PASSCODE then click the REGISTER button. That will take you to the Hazelwood Baptist Church page and you will need to create your profile step by step to continue. You can find the PASSCODE in the bulletin or call the church office.

The Seniors for Christ have been invited to the kindergarten class at Armstrong Elementary School at 1:30pm on Tuesday, February 14. The children will serve you cookies and read books to you! Please come and help us bridge a relationship with the children in our community. Contact Sharon Bell for more information.

The regular senior adult luncheon will take place on Thursday, February 16, at 11:30 am.

David Smart Coming to HBC on February 26 HBC will host a Blue Grass & Folk Guitar Extravaganza. David Smart will play at both Sunday morning services, hold a guitar workshop at 3:00pm and then play a concert at the 5:00pm Sunday evening service.

Spring Jubilee 2012 is a three day, two night conference for Christian Senior and Mature Adults. It will provide entertainment, encouragement and fellowship at a very reasonable price. The conference is held in Branson MO, one of America’s top senior adult destinations. The main sessions will be held at the Tri-Lakes Center in Branson. Lodging will be provided at quality hotels in the Branson area. The conference will feature entertaining music and humor plus dynamic messages by some of the leading speakers in the country, and a choice of one of the area’s most popular shows.

Housing for Jubilee is provided in quality hotels and motels in the Branson area. Sometime after we receive your rooming list and per person registration deposit your group will be assigned a hotel. Your entire group will be staying in the same hotel, groups will not be split up. Your hotel’s proximity to the conference center will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis and could range from a 1-5 miles away from the conference center. Each group is responsible for their own transportation to and from their hotel.

**Note, the cost is $179/per person if 2 to a room, or $129/per person if 4 to a room. Please make checks payable to Hazelwood Baptist Church and turn in to Gina Walker. The registration part of $100 is due by February 1, with the remainder due April 1.

This year’s golf tournament will be held on Saturday, April 28^th, at noon. We will once again be playing at Spencer T. Olin Golf Course in Alton, IL. You must sign up by April 21^st. The cost is $50 per person. Watch for signup sheets in the lobbies.

The annual HBC/MCC Fishing Tournament will take place May 18-20 in the Lake of the Ozarks. The Deadline to signup is May 6. Cost is $55 per person. See Steve Herin for brochure.
