Jason

Jason Grubbs
Youth Pastor

Jason began his youth ministry at Hazelwood Baptist in January of 2008 after serving in Sikeston, Missouri . He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, but his father was called to and still serves at a Southern Baptist Church in Sikeston, Missouri. At youth camp in 1993, Jason began to feel the call to ministry. After beginning his work in student ministry at a young age, his journey from serving as a layman/volunteer transitioned to a full-time ministry in a position of Associate Pastor/Student Pastor in the spring of 1999. His ultimate ministry desire is for today's 'church' to reach far beyond the brick walls and into the world.

Jason and Lori began their courtship at the young age of 15. Seeing that they were God's gift to each other, they were married in 1995. They have 2 boys, Jaydon and Caleb, and 1 girl Hannah Grace. Lori is a full-time homeschooling mom, loves music and serves wherever she may have an opportunity. Jason loves spending time outdoors, music, and playing sports. And given the chance, will get away anytime to the mountains.
