WORSHIP & CREATIVE ARTS
Worship is giving God the glory He alone deserves. Scriptures show us the vital role the arts play in the worship of God. Psalms 66:2 says we are to “sing the glory of His name and give to Him glorious praise.” All of life is a response to God…including the arts.
We are a family of diverse artists seeking to serve humbly and skillfully in a variety of ways, including the following ministries:
Celebration Choir
If you love to sing or just make a joyful noise, we would love for you to be a part of the “Celebration Choir”. We will meet at 8 p.m. on Wednesday in room 113 & 114. Child care is provided for kids 4 and under.
Worship Teams
There are many vocal music groups here at HBC. Some of the teams are Contemporary Worship, Traditional Worship, Youth Worship, and Special Music.
Instrumentalist (Worship Bands and Accompanists)
Do you play an instrument? We can definitely use you! There are many opportunities for you to use your gifts.
Drama
Creative arts drama teams are a large part of our worship experience at HBC during our services and special events.
Technical Team
Behind the scenes, our technical team makes every thing come together. From sound to lighting and visual arts, the team assists our Ministry team with worship.
